ONEPLAN Sazon 2018.2

We are informing about the release of the new version of ONEPLAN Sazon.
In version 2018.2 automation of report generation in text form has been improved by using custom masks. A list of custom masks is created and edited by the user in the masks directory and applied to the project. To generate a report with new masks user should edit the existing template with the new masks. A list of masks can be downloaded from another project.
In addition, for convenience of users, a power calculator has been introduced into the program and user can input power in any units: W, mW, dBW, dBm.

ONEPLAN CND 2018.1

We are pleased to announce the release of the commercial version of the ONEPLAN CND program for calculating the communication network dependability.

The program allows assessing the compliance of design solutions with technical standards for reliability indicators on the basis of modeling the communication network as a set of information directions, nodes, and transmission channels. You can import network information from an Excel template file. The program calculates the readiness indicators for communication directions in accordance with GOST R 53111-2008 “Stability of the public telecommunications network. Requirements and verification methods “, as well as statistical method (Monte-Carlo).

ONEPLAN Sazon 2018.1

We are informing about the release of the new version of the ONEPLAN Sazon program for calculating the sanitary protection zones. What’s new in version 2018.1:
1. The possibility of processing the results of electromagnetic radiation measurements of the transmitting radio object is added. Processing of measurements includes loading them from tabulated files, comparing them with calculation results, displaying and storing. The values of both the energy flux density (μW/sq.cm) and the electric field strength (V/m) can be processed. There is a visual difference on the map of points where the measured values exceed the calculated ones. The mechanism allows using the software not only for calculations but also for processing the results of field measurements with the automated formation of the necessary documentation (measurement protocols).
2. Now you can import control points from an Excel file. The following methods for specifying coordinates are available: geodetic, rectangular with respect to transmitting radio object, polar with respect to transmitting radio object.
3. Expanded the possibility of exporting tabular information to the generated reports.

New and previously implemented functions make it possible to significantly reduce the time for performing routine operations during the preparation of an application for obtaining a sanitary and epidemiological conclusion for the deployment and operation of the transmitting radio object.

Frequency sharing

When frequency sharing is used by communication operators, the tasks of automatic frequency allocation and generation of neighbor lists by Handover are easily solved in ONEPLAN RFP software. Frequency sharing is the use of TCH frequency channels together by several operators. As a result of frequency allocation, operators receive a frequency plan with common TCH frequency channels and with separate BCCH frequency channels, as well as neighborhood lists. In the frequency allocation process network performance can also be improved by reducing coverage loss and service quality due to interference, and optimizing the number of frequency channels for the BCCH and TCH.

ONEPLAN RFP 2017.3

The WEB Map Service (WMS: Yandex, Google, 2GIS, OSM) in version 2017.3 of the ONEPLAN RPLS-DB RFP software has been implemented. The service allows using these resources as a bottom layer for thematic maps while preserving all the functionality available when working with a vector map.

The new geoconverter allows the use of SXF maps (exchange format for GIS Panorama) to generate MapInfo maps for visualization and RLF matrices to take into account terrain and local objects when modeling the propagation of radio waves in ONEPLAN software.

ONEPLAN Sazon 2017.7

The possibilities of the ONEPLAN Sazon software for calculating the sanitary protection zones  in version 2017.7 are expanded:

Import/export of the project from a file in MS Excel format.
An antenna designer for modeling antennas pattern by their physical parameters.
Calculation of aperture antennas according to MUK 4.3.1167-02 “Determination of the energy flux density of an electromagnetic field in the locations of radio facilities operating in the frequency range 300 MHz-300 GHz” (parabolic antenna with round and rectangular aperture, horn-parabolic antenna).
Automatic calculation of the directivity of aperture antennas.
Calculation of radar facilities operating in the mode of circular survey, according to MUK 4550-88 “Methodological instructions for determining the levels of the electromagnetic field of the means for controlling air traffic of HF, VHF, UHF and microwave bands”. By default, the maximum permissible level for the population is used according to SanPiN 2.1.8 / 2.2.4.1383-03 / 2302-07.
Calculation of sanitary protection zones from transmitting radio engineering object with various types of antennas (BS, broadcasting, radar, MW Link, aperture).
Determination of frequency-dependent losses for penetration into buildings according to ITU-R P.2346-2.
Adjustment of the antenna parameters visibility depending on the type.
Calculation of the exposure according to SanPiN 2.2.4.3359-16 with the presentation of the results (exposure coefficient and maximum working shift) at control points, and also in the form of a matrix. By default, maximum permissible level  for personnel are used according to SanPiN 2.2.4.3359-16.
Export of restricted areas into KML-file with the support of 3D-zone from transmitting radio engineering object with all types of antennas, including aperture and radar.

ONEPLAN RFP 2017.2

We are reporting the release of version 2017.2 of ONEPLAN RPLS-DB RFP mobile communication planning software, which contains the following changes:

1. The tool of formation of the united maps of multiband/multistandard/multitechnological networks is added
2. Calculation of Internet of Things, LPLA/ M2M/ LPWA (LoRa, LTE-M, eMTC, EC-GSM, NB-IoT)
3. Updating of settings for MIMO (for new LTE releases)
4. Implementation of a tool for assessing coverage for human settlements
5. Automated input and batch editing of data:
– transfer of the BS from site to site
– group creation of the BS on the pattern from the project
– an increase of duplication capabilities to accelerate repetitive operations
6. The mechanism for selecting and updating the BS in the calculation area has been improved
7. The tool “Table indicators of 2G/3G/4G network” has been improved in the part of statistics on human settlements
8. When creating the 3G/4G calculation area, automated creation of 3G/4G network configurations
9. In the project selection dialog the ability to search for projects by the address information
10. The “User Clutters and Polygons” tool has been improved: new types have been added, area estimation has been included, the export options have been expanded
11. Pilot Pollution calculation with advanced set of settings
12. The tool for generating frequency plan/ network configuration reports has been refined: settings for combining cells, new types of masks
13. The data of geographical borders of administrative subjects of the Russian Federation are updated
14. Export of the combined calculation of the field level for the calculation areas to the format GeoTIFF
15. The mechanism for verification of data before the calculation is finalized, now it is checked for changes in the connected relief matrices
16. The mechanism for forming integrated maps has been revised: restrictions on the size of areas have been removed, calculations have been accelerated, data storage has been optimized

ONEPLAN Sazon 2017.5

The program for the calculation of sanitary protection zones and building restrictions zones from radio transmitting facilities ONEPLAN Sazon version 2017.5 contains new functions:
– calculations for vertical cross sections between any given points
– representation of zones in tabular (matrix) form for horizontal sections
– accounting for reflections and absorption with the ability to enter user parameters
– automatic generation of inscriptions (in addition to the signatures of objects) on the map
– import of projects from the PC AEMO
– the directory of antennas with the ability to import antennas from the formats: msi, adf, csv (MMANA), xml (ONEPLAN)
– reduction of calculation time due to: parallel (multi-processor) calculations; intellectual prediction of the size of restricted zones; use of any combination of calculations (in horizontal planes, vertical planes, control points)
– the ability to set the position for antennas and control points not only by coordinates but also by offsets (X, Y, R and azimuth) with respect to active site
– direct and reverse geocoding (determination of coordinates by address and address by coordinates)
– additional web-substrates (OSM and 2GIS)
– loading of building contours with heights from web sources
– 3D restricted zone (view in Google Earth)
– export of zones to MapInfo format
– expanding the capabilities of automated reporting: now more data is automatically delivered to the report, headers and footers are filled in and images of various sizes are inserted, support for A3 format

ONEPLAN RPLS-XML 2017.2

In the version 2017.2 of the ONEPLAN RPLS-XML mobile and fixed communication planning software new functionality has been added:
– expanding list of available web resources: Google-maps, OSM, 2GIS
– the possibilities for calibration of radio propagation models with averaging of calculated values ​​in neighboring cells or searching for the best (nearest to the measured) calculated value in neighboring cells

In addition, improvements have been made in the methodology for calculating the radio relay links in part of:

  • account of terrain types, types of underlying surface
  • use of combined (spatial + frequency) diversity
  • analysis of the closed profiles
  • analysis of extended (more than 70 km) profiles
  • calculation of losses on obstacles in the range 100 MHz – 2 GHz
